Апстракт:
The adsorption of methylene blue (MP) from the aqueous environment was examined on bentonite and on a series modified bentonites (Amcol and Tonsil modifications) in the temperature interval from 278 K to 303 K. The balance isotherms applied on the system of aqueous solution MP/adsorbent are: Freundlich, Langmuir, Temkin isotherms. The calculated thermodynamic data provided an insight in the type of adsorption and spontaneity of the process itself depending on the experiment temperature. The most important textural characteristics of bentonite were determined by the adsorption of nitrogen at the temperature of liquid nitrogen. The following was established: specific surface (SPBET), total volume of pores (Vp), most common value of pore diameter (Dmax) and mean value of pore diameter (Dmed).
